The firm of Alpha Consulting Engineers, Inc. (ACE, Inc.) was founded by Scott S. Tak, P.E. in October of 1986 as Tak and Associates, Inc. and changed its name to Alpha Consulting Engineers, Inc. in August of 1990. ACE, Inc. has specialized primarily in Structural Engineering since its inception. ACE moved its offices to 25836 Hwy 281 N. in northern San Antonio.

ACE provides traditional design and construction administration services for a wide variety of project types. ACE also provides forensic engineering services consisting of building condition surveys and structural distress evaluations. Employees are active in various professional societies; and frequently attend seminars and conferences to improve professional skills, learn new skills and stay abreast of code changes, new products and technology.

Alpha Consulting Engineers, Inc. is committed to providing efficient, quality, structural engineering services in a timely manner. Our goal is to expand while improving management, profitability and organizational efficiency. Alpha Consulting Engineers will continue to grow, train employees and improve in order to provide current Clients with better services while providing the same excellent engineering services to new Clients.
